Ordering

Which payment methods do you accept?

Mada (the Saudi domestic network), Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and STC Pay. Tabby and Tamara are available for split-payment (BNPL) on eligible orders.

When does Mada confirm my payment?

Mada authorizations are usually instant — you should see the order confirmation in your inbox within a minute. If you do not, message us on WhatsApp with the last four digits of the card and we will verify on our side.

Can I edit or cancel an order after placing it?

If the order has not yet been packed, yes — message us on WhatsApp as soon as possible and we will edit the address, swap a bean, or cancel. Once the bag is sealed and weighed for roast, the order is locked.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Every bag ships in our standard kraft sleeve with a handwritten roast date. A dedicated gift mode (with a card and a wax seal) is on the way — join the gift-cards waitlist to be notified when it ships.

Shipping

Where do you ship?

1-2 business days across Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar, and Dammam; 3-5 days for outlying cities in the Kingdom. International shipping is on the roadmap for Q4 2026.

What does shipping cost?

Free shipping on orders over SAR 200. Below that, a flat SAR 25 across the Kingdom.

Can I track my order on WhatsApp?

Yes — once your order ships, the tracking link arrives via WhatsApp on the same number you ordered with. You can also reply to that message to ask the courier anything.

Which courier do you use?

We currently dispatch with Saudi Post for in-Kingdom orders. For high-value or fragile shipments we upgrade to SMSA Express at no charge.

When are beans roasted?

Weekly. The roast date is stamped on every bag.

How fresh are the beans when they arrive?

We ship within 5 days of roasting. Beans peak between 7 and 21 days post-roast — open them then, taste them through their window.

Whole bean or pre-ground?

Default is whole bean — every coffee is at its best ground to order. If you ask in the order notes, we can grind for your brewer (V60, AeroPress, French press, espresso, Turkish/Dallah). Once ground, beans lose their bright top notes within a day or two.

How should I store my bag?

Cool, dry, away from sunlight. The valved bag the coffee arrives in is the best storage — keep it sealed with the air pressed out. Skip the fridge: coffee absorbs every smell around it.

Can I return beans?

Unopened bags can be returned within 14 days. If beans arrive damaged or stale within 10 days of delivery, we replace at our cost. We don't accept returns of opened bags — food safety, no exceptions.

Account

Do I need to create an account to order?

No — guest checkout works fine. An account makes re-ordering, tracking, and managing a subscription faster, but it is never required for a one-off bag.

How do I reset my password?

Go to the account sign-in page and tap "Forgot password" — we will email a one-time reset link. If the link does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder or message us on WhatsApp.

How is my personal data handled?

Per Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). We collect the minimum needed to ship your order and never sell data to third parties. The full notice — including how to revoke consent — lives at /legal/privacy.

Subscription

How does a Khalil subscription work?

You pick a cadence and a coffee profile (one origin, a rotating curator pick, or a multi-bag box). The roast is timed to your delivery day, the bag ships, and you can pause, swap, or cancel anytime from your account.

Can I pause my subscription during Ramadan or travel?

Yes — pauses are unlimited and the calendar inside the account supports Hijri dates so Ramadan, Eid, and Hajj travel are easy to plan around. A subscription will not bill while paused.

Can I change the coffee in my next delivery?

Yes — swap the origin or the roast profile up to 48 hours before the next dispatch date. After that, the bag is already on the roaster and the swap rolls to the following delivery.

Is there a minimum commitment?

None. Cancel after the first delivery if it is not for you — we would rather you come back when the timing is right than feel locked in.
